What is Hydroponics?
Hydroponics...simply means growing plants without soil.
Is it easy?
Yes, much more so than conventional gardening. It’s cleaner, neater, requires no bending or stooping. It also produces more in a smaller area. Anyone can do it…makes a great gift !
What makes Smart HydroGro Towers uniquely better ?
Our towers are manufactured using heavy duty, long-lasting, non-polluting and professional grade polypropylene. We do not use environmentally unfriendly, toxic, short-lived, Styrofoam.
Government regulatory agencies are considering strict restrictions on the use and manufacturing of Styrofoam to protect the environment. GREEN environmental organizations deplore the use of Styrofoam.
What is Grow Media?
Grow media is an essential part of any hydroponic growing system. Simply put, grow media is a soil substitute. It holds moisture, nutrients and plant roots in place.
Our proprietary HydroponicGro Media, is specially produced under our strict guidelines. It is free from contaminants, pressed and condensed into a small brick size for easy use, shipping and handling. When moistened with water the bricks immediately expand to several times their original size, filling our Smart HydroGro Tower containers for immediate planting.
Our one-of-a-kind proprietary coconut husk media gives better drainage, provides excellent aeration, superb pH stability, delivers on-time moisture and nutrients to plants and is re-useable.

Normally, vining plants are grown within the upper tiers of the tower to allow them the freedom to cascade. Even tomato plants enjoy the cascading effect as they produce heavier fruit. You’ll find that there are very few plants that will not easily adapt to our specially designed HydroGro System.

What about pests?
Pests become less of a concern when using all-inclusive Smart HydroGro Nutrients. They contain all major/minor elements necessary for strong, healthy and vibrant production...a healthy plant produces its’ own immune and phyto-defense system.

Is it easily moved?
Yes. Our residential system is an all-inclusive, self-contained unit that rolls on 5 dual-wheeled heavy duty, pivoting casters that when positioned, can be locked in place.
Is it portable ?

How many plants can I fit in my Smart HydroGro Tower System?
Each tier holds 6 plants…a tower with 5 tiers will hold 30 plants of your choice. Choose from seeds, seedlings or plants.
What about watering?
The residential automated HydroGro Tower System comes complete with tubing, adjustable timer, and submergible liquid water & nutrient pump. The liquid and nutrients are dispersed through our specially designed emitter at the top of the tower. They then flow downward through each tier of your tower and back into the retention container for future timed re-circulating throughout the system.
